The Midwest Digital Fabrication Sharing Community is being launched at the end of October, 2014.  The sharing community is being started with several UW- Stout faculty members involved in Fab Lab activities and 7 K-12 districts that include:

ISD 196 – Rosemont/Apple Valley/Egan (MN)

  • Chetek – Weyerhaeuser (WI)
  • Ellsworth (WI)
  • Red Rock High School – Lamberton (MN)
  • Rice Lake (WI)
  • Stoughton (WI)
  • Three Lakes (WI)

We will be investigating whether Collective Impact practices have relevance to growing a digital fabrication community that seeks to incorporate innovation, cross-curricular, inquiry-based principles into the classroom.
